Fischbach & Aberegg – Swiss Interior Architecture and Design Studio

From an early age, Christoph Aberegg was fascinated by the challenge of creating projects for hotels, restaurants, retail, institutions and private clients that meet high expectations in terms of economic viability, profitability and customer footfall. For him, combining creativity with problem-solving is essential. As an ideas-driven professional, planner and entrepreneur, he knows how to guide a project successfully towards its goal.

Christoph Aberegg learned the craft of interior architecture from the ground up. For ten years, he competed at elite level with the Kloten Flyers.

At the age of 20, he founded an interior architecture studio together with renowned interior designer Jean-Pierre Dovat. Its references include discerning private clients from Zurich's residential districts as well as personalities such as David Bowie and Gunter Sachs.

This was followed by the establishment of Complete Bar Design Ltd. in London and, in 1994, Gastrokonzept GmbH, specialising in hotels and restaurants.

Together with Tanja Fischbach, Christoph Aberegg developed the Fischbach & Aberegg brand. As equal partners, they shape the direction and development of the company. Today, Fischbach & Aberegg AG provides interior architecture, architecture and design for the hospitality and restaurant sectors, as well as for retail, institutions and private clients.

Tanja Fischbach develops and plans interior architecture and design concepts for hotels, restaurants, retail, institutions and private clients. She combines strong creative intuition with precise conceptual thinking and a free, unconventional perspective. Questioning the familiar, recognising unexpected connections and developing solutions from them down to the finest detail are fundamental to her approach. As an ideas-driven professional, designer, planner and entrepreneur, she plays a defining role in shaping the distinctive signature of Fischbach & Aberegg.

She combines her keen sensitivity to people, spaces and atmosphere with extensive knowledge of different cultures and periods of art. The result is spaces with character and an identity of their own, where aesthetics and function come together naturally.

Tanja Fischbach trained in business administration and studied art history, followed by periods of study in London, Madrid and Lausanne. For ten years, she was a member of the management team of a long-established company specialising in picture frames and art. In this role, she was responsible for working with galleries and museums and developed visual and art concepts for public buildings, hotels, restaurants and private clients.

Together with Christoph Aberegg, Tanja Fischbach developed the Fischbach & Aberegg brand. As equal partners, they shape the direction and development of the company.
