La Grande Terrasse, Gstaad Palace

The renewed Grande Terrasse continues the historic architecture of the Gstaad Palace, originally built in the 1920s, through a contemporary interpretation. The new entrance structure and architectural additions combine classical references with precise modern detailing.

All furniture and architectural elements were developed specifically for the hotel, including tables with adjustable bases and solid-brass façade and bollard lighting. The bespoke pieces were produced by selected Swiss craftspeople.

Warm timber, curved seating niches and specially designed fabrics create an inviting Alpine atmosphere. Architecture, lighting and product design form an integrated concept that belongs naturally to the identity of the Palace.
